As Vancouver Island’s only TRIPLE THREAT artist, I don’t just make you look and feel incredible on your wedding day, I also capture this next chapter of your love story.

 

With over a decade and a half as a professional wedding makeup & hair artist, a self-taught photographer, avid sun chaser, and slightly unhinged cat mom, I bring experience, calm, and creativity in equal measure.

​

My UK tea-loving, wilderness-obsessed partner and competent second shooter Simon and I split our time between Vancouver Island and the seaside city of Bournemouth, UK but adventure is our default setting.

 

After two years in London and 18 months of world travel, we landed in Australia and fell hard for #vanlife.

​

Then the C-word hit. We spent 10 months apart, and I dove headfirst into converting my own van while the industry took a pandemic break.  While a fun project it also gets lots of use every summer to travel from wedding to wedding across the island, soaking up everything this place has to offer. It’s been one hell of a journey ever since.

We have just planted roots on Gabriola and bought a lot of bare land (YAY!) to create a homebase while we build our business both on and off Vancouver Island.

And yes...I am 1000% down for destination work. Travel + a career I love is the dream combo.

​

I'm a big believer in open communication both in my personal life and professional relationships so with that in mind I share with you that recently learned that many of my “quirks” are actually ADHD.

 

I’m a classic introverted extrovert:

​

- Great at reading the room

- adapting on the fly

- staying calm under pressure

 

So essentially a great wing woman for any event!

 

I’m down-to-earth, love a good laugh, enjoy a bit of sarcastic banter, and can happily chat about life, psychology, travel, cats, and creating art.

​

 

When we work together, I promise you three things:

1. I’ve got you. I’m experienced, flexible, and focused on making this one of the best days of your life. Perfectly imperfect and stress-free.

2. So many laughs.

3. You’ll feel like your most beautiful self, with photo memories to match.

…and maybe a fourth, because transparency matters:

     4. I’m a creative who also has to do admin. My neuro-spicy brain loves writing emails… just not always right away. To help with that, I have a part-time admin gal Ashlie who's amazing.

​

So if there’s ever a delay in email replies, DO NOT WORRY.
I’ve seen it. My brain just went on a side quest first. 

​

If something is time-sensitive, just send a separate email with “URGENT” in the subject line.

​

Easy.

​

And if delayed replies genuinely stress you out, please tell me ahead of time! I’m here to reduce stress, not add to it. I’m approachable, communicative, and very good at problem-solving when it matters most.
