2024 2024 Triple Threat Packages NEW DESIGN (5)_edited.jpg

 the Candid Camcorder package

Triple Threat wasn't enough for us....We want our clients the option to relive the sound, movement, and magic with candidly captured video. But we only can do so much in one day, so we decided to throw back to VHS (IYKYK) home-style video archives and leave it up to you and your nearest and dearest to become the videographers for the day.

 I bet you're wondering...

what does this look like?

Before the Event:

  • Pick up your gear: this is a rental service so we set up a pick up for the set up. This includes: 2 x  DJI Osmo 3 camera's with all the bits and bobs you'll need to document the day.

  • Get your "point people" familiar with how to work the cameras:  they are pretty straight forward to use, but we hook you up with a simplified how-to of the gear It's good having one person from either side of the wedding party or a special guest or two be "in charge" of the cameras. Gives them a fun job for the day and helping other guests who may need a hand with documenting their footage.

  • Let your guests know:  If you have a wedding website or group chat, let your guests know that this will be available to send love notes to you, advice or just document their fave people or parts of the event from their point of view! Great during cocktail hour and the reception!

Day of Event:

  • Start your day off with a camera with each wedding party group: get short shots of people getting ready, details that are key to the day and have fun!!

  • B-Roll:  this footage with no specific person is the main focus and is great having for editing. Some shots of the venue, the scenery or wide shots of just people mingling work well!

  • 2 angles of the ceremony:  don't worry about setting this up too soon, figure out the angles that would be good to have (a close up and a wide shot is great OR facing the guests and facing the couple). If we are there doing photography for a Triple Threat we can assist with this part!

  • Don't forget to leave a message to your future self or partner in the morning before everything kicks off:  this is a perfect moment to share private thoughts to your partner, even can be your vows if you want to have those recorded clearly.

After the Event:

  • Pack up the kit and send/drop it back to us! 90 day maximum wait on edit of the footage.

  • Two options for video:

  1. All together, we edit in chronological order and keep the whole ceremony in and speeches as a feature length video.

  2. Ceremony and Speeches left in a separate video and just highlights from them along with the other footage in a second video. Keeps the main video a little shorter and you still have the full ceremony and speeches to rewatch!

  • USB Mailed to you: Your video's are sent via mail to you so you have a hardcopy. We also advise saving a copy on your computer as a back up!

Some FAQ's:

Q: Can I book videography without booking makeup, hair or photography?
A: Yes! Videography can be booked as a standalone service if you've already secured your vendors or paired any of our services.

Q: Do I need tech experience to use the cameras?
A: Not at all. Our cameras are fully charged, pre-set, and come with easy how-to instructions.

Q: Who edits the footage?
A: We do! You’ll get a professionally edited video that captures the  essence of your day.

Q: Can I rent this for more than just the wedding day?

A:  OF COURSE! You can rent this package for the day, the weekend, any type of celebration, honeymoon... Just let us know what you want to document and we can curate a custom package.

Q: Can I request specific music or moments to include?
A: Absolutely. You’ll fill out a short questionnaire about your preferences. However, we use royalty-free music, but genre can be requested and we will do our best to match up.

Q: What if my guests forget to film?
A: This is why we recommend having a point person or two to make sure you get some footage at different points of the day. We also include filming prompt cards with your equipment which can be carried along with or set up at a table during cocktail hour to encourage participation, and can guide you on a filming timeline ahead of the day.

Q: Is this good for elopements or small weddings?
A: Yes! Even if it's just you two, the tripod means you can set the camera's down and still film, perfect for intimate events.
